Paul

For the past 35 years, Paul has combined a diverse career being both a professional builder and landscape artist.
It was when he moved with his family back to West Sussex from Dorset that his sister Louise commissioned him to create a shepherd’s hut for her garden. He so enjoyed the process that he built his own studio hut and in 2009 decided to work full time utilising his building talents to produce beautifully constructed shepherd huts. Louise

Louise has worked as a professional press photographer for over 30 years and whilst gardening and visiting the local Weald and Downland Museum in Singleton, West Sussex, became curious about the shepherd huts on display. Realising there could be a niche market, she and her brother Paul with the help of their father set up the business in 2009.
She now works full time with her brother and team sourcing the materials, marketing and generally rushing about.
